Welcome to Alethea's life.

I'm Alethea. People call me Leafy. This is my special place.

I wander through the world and I take wonder at the beauty around me. I love to pause, breathe it in, and keep that feeling before it slips away.

If something here makes you stop too, stay with it. You are welcome here.

I look at four things, over and over. Wings. Woods. Cities. Faces. Not because someone asked me to. Because that is how my eyes already work. I wander, I pause, and I try to keep the beauty so we can share it.

If a picture makes you feel small in a good way, or makes you whisper that is me, then you are already part of leafys.life. Stay as long as you like.

The four things I keep looking at

I go outside and the trees do the rest.

Woods

I go outside and the trees do the rest.

I go outside and the trees do the rest. After rain the woods feel like they are holding their breath. I stand still until I can keep that quiet with me.

The sky is the first thing I look at.

Wings

The sky is the first thing I look at.

A plane draws a line through the sky and the whole day feels bigger. I take the window seat in my mind even when I am on the ground. I want you to feel that lift too.

Then the streets, still warm from someone passing.

Cities

Then the streets, still warm from someone passing.

I love streets that still feel warm from someone passing through. Flowers in the windows. A bike left just so. I take wonder at the life already happening.

And then someone I love.

Faces

And then someone I love.

A face I already know. Friends looking at the same far away thing. If you see yourself here, stay a second. You belong.
